Man is complicated, and his complexities cannot be understood by him, nor can anyone else like him untangle these complexities. There may be another dimension apart from the two dimensions of the picture that we usually observe. This story is an attempt to see the world from that third angle. The endeavor is that the story teller should not pass judgement on the characters in the story. It is difficult to simply characterise them as either good or bad. Ali Usman Bajwa

Born in the village of Gunna Kalan in district Sialkot, the vernal writer from West Punjab Ali Usman Bajwa now resides in Lahore.  A young man with multifaceted talent, Ali Usman is known as a playwright, director and short story writer, though sometimes he also writes poetry.

Initially he started writing in Urdu, but soon shifted to his mother tongue, Punjabi. A few of his stories have been transcribed into Gurmukhi script and have already been published in various literary journals of East Punjab.

At present, he is teaching Urdu at the college level, and also hosts a weekly cultural program on Pakistan TV. He is an active member of the organisations striving to give Punjabi its due place in West Punjab.
